How to Link your PAN Card with Aadhar card
Linking of Aadhar card with pan card
The most talked bill after the monetization of Indian currency is the GST or Goods and service tax which was implemented on 1st July 2017. The former taxing system has a lot of faults in it. Like for a good you bought, you had to pay the taxes to many stations in between the manufacturer and you in the form direct tax like income tax or indirect taxes like service tax or excise and customs. There are other taxes too like state tax, property tax and others. But after the implementation of GST, all these taxes will be under one roof. The GST works like if the manufacturing price is ₹ 10 for a product and the first set of tax applied to it is ₹2. Now when it reaches the next station the next tax levied on the product may be ₹5 but due to GST, the ₹2 you had paid earlier will be deducted from the new tax which is ₹5 and hence the new tax will be ₹3. So instead of paying 17 rupees for a product, you are paying ₹13 instead and this is how GST will help decrease the prices of various goods. In the GST regime the taxes are 0%, 5%, 8%, 12%, 18% and 28%. Not only this but under GST regime those who come under GST had to register for e-billing and hence it is mandatory for every pan cardholders to link their aadhar card to their respective PAN accounts.
